BETTER LOCKS® LOCK & HOLD BEESWAX

The decision to wear natural locks and twists is not an overnight reversible hair style decision. It is a commitment to a new look that has a special meaning to you. The process to molding lock and twists styles begins with the wax and hold process.

Beeswax is not easily removed which means it may be necessary to cut hair if locks are no longer wanted. So if you’re not sure about wearing locks, use another hold product until you’ve made a decision.

Once deciding that locks will be a permanent hairstyle, use Better Locks® Lock and Hold Beeswax for sculpting and shaping your hairstyle. Better Locks® Lock & Hold Beeswax contains Shea Butter with Vitamin A & E and is a safe and natural way to permanently tighten locks and twists. It strengthens the hair and increases the locks and twists durability against rigorous activities and virtually any climate condition. Great for natural, weaves & synthetic styles

Benefits Of Shea Butter

Shea Butter, found in Better Locks® Lock and Hold Beeswax is a cream-colored fatty substance made from the nuts of karite nut trees (also called Mangifolia trees) which grow in the savannah regions of West and Central Africa. Its benefits are extraordinary!

Shea Butter contains Vitamins A and E and has been used for centuries to help promote cell renewal, increase circulation, heal burns, sores, scars, dermatitis, psoriasis, dandruff, and stretch marks.

Shea butter is an effective moisturizer as it contains many fatty acids that retain moisture and elasticity. Shea Butter protects dry or damaged hair from the roots to the tips, against weather damage, dryness and brittleness. It is an excellent treatment for dry scalp and restores luster to damaged hair by absorbing easily into the scalp to rehydrate without clogging the pores. It can be used also as an all-natural hair conditioner and moisturizer.

PRECAUTION Shea butter products are not recommended for people with nut or latex allergies.

Lock & Twists Treatment

Each time you shampoo newly twisted dreadlocks you may have to re-twist or re-wax the ones that become weak or loose. If you need to re-wax your locks or twists with Better Locks® Lock & Hold Beeswax, wait until your hair is completely dry. Using beeswax, however, is only a temporary method for lock styles as its purpose is to keep hair stands together until the hair begins to lock by itself.

Hair Care Tip You Can Use

The best way to wax dreads is by starting at the roots and working Better Locks® Beeswax into the hair as completely as possible. Use a blow dryer to heat and settle the beeswax into new or re-twisted locks.
